We offer four different metals for your printing needs: Brass, DuraBlack™, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel.
Aluminum
We engrave painted aluminum for interior use and unfinished aluminum tags.
Brass
We engrave brass valve tags and recognition plates. Brass is useful for many applications and readily available. Contact us with your project specifications to see how we may assist you.
DuraBlack™
DuraBlack™ is a laser markable aluminum certified for outdoor use.
It is resistant to sunlight, salt and chemical exposure and high temperatures.
DuraBlack™ is available in .005” or .020” thick aluminum with a matte black finish, which engraves to silver. It does not require a protective topcoat.
This material can be applied with an adhesive back, rivets or screws to flat or curved surfaces and meets several military, industrial and government specifications for signage and labeling.
We order DuraBlack™ precut to your specifications and laser engrave your information.
Stainless Steel
We order stainless steel plates from our experienced and trusted local fabricator.
These plates are laser cut to provide the highest level of precision and consistency throughout your job.
The most commonly used stainless steel grades are 304 and 316. Both types are available in a brushed finish in the gauge of your choice, with or without holes.
Grade 304 stainless is the most commonly used type, also known as A2 Stainless or 18/8. It is known for its excellent resistance to environmental corrosives.
Grade 316 stainless, the second most common, is also known as marine grade stainless because of its resistance to corrosion from chloride. Grade 316 is used for food processing, surgical implements and labeling in harsh chemical environments.
